Lesson 2: Goal Setting and Execution
All leaders must be able to establish goals and create a vision for how their teams can achieve individual and team goals that are integrated into higher level corporate goals. Importance of creating goals that are achievable yet stretch the team to reach higher levels of performance. This lesson reviews creating SMART goals and prioritizing and developing action plans. It also introduces the 4 Disciplines of Execution and discusses self-motivation and time management.
Today’s leader must be versatile and adaptable. This training is designed for department heads\, front line supervisors\, team leaders and coordinators whether they are new to the position or have been in a leadership role for years.
Course Delivery
Blended Learning - Online\, Self-Paced and Instructor Led
Participants will receive a link to the online portion of the course one week prior to the class date\, to complete on their own. This is a 1 hour self-paced lesson. Participants will then join a 90 minute\, virtual instructor-led class to review course material and apply knowledge through class activities.
Participants will be awarded a badge for each course they complete. A Leadership Development Certificate will be awarded to those participants completing all 7 courses within the certification.
